We are so excited to invite you to the 2024 Promising Venture Fellowship Cohort!  This experience is one we hope will help your organization accelerate its impact and growth, and support your own professional development.  We wanted to lay out a few participation expectations that will ensure this shared experience is valuable for you and everyone involved.

• The Fellowship experience is one where the more you put in, the more value you will derive. We hope you’ll come with a growth mindset, willingness to be open, excitement to share learnings and support your peers at other ventures, and a general spirit of collaboration. (You were selected for this Fellowship because we already believe you possess these qualities!)
• Preparation for scheduled meetings and completion of follow-up work between meetings is the essential ingredient for maximum progress and achievement of impact and growth goals. Fellows who take ownership of the process and leverage Promise as advisors will get the greatest outcomes.
• Your Promise coaches will be your main point of contact during the fellowship. You’ll also be supported by Program Facilitators Demetra, Emma, and Tarilyn. Please reach out to any of them at any point before, during, or after the program.
• While Slack is our preferred channel for communication during the Fellowship program, we understand that each fellow has different communication preferences. Each team will be given access to the Promise Venture Network Slack, and we hope this will allow for more frequent, informal engagement as well as formal engagement. You can also share your communication preferences with your coaches so that you can engage in whichever way you prefer (email, text, etc.)
• Your attendance at all fellowship events, meetings, and coaching sessions is mandatory. We know your time is valuable and we will do our best to communicate dates and times well ahead of schedule.
• If you do have a scheduling conflict, we ask that you share it with your Promise coach as soon as possible. We’d like to set the norm of keeping pre-scheduled commitments, but we also know that life comes up and in rare circumstances, you may not be able to make it.
• During the Fellowship we’ll ask you to share information on your venture in coaching sessions and with members of your cohort. We ask that you come with a willingness to be open and that we all commit to confidentiality. Any information you share with your Promise coaches will never be shared beyond that group without your explicit permission. We also ask that you do not share information you may learn about other ventures in cohort-wide events without their explicit permission.
• During and after the Fellowship we will reach out to you for your feedback on the experience and with asks to share updates on your progress. This allows us to continually improve our programming, approach to supporting ventures, and how we help you get maximum results.
